You are the star of your own movie!

You are also the writer, director and producer. Why not create wonderful papers for yourself?

Are you creating roles that are too small for you? Are you acting in someone else’s movie?

In my early years I acted in roles that were assigned and created for others. I forced myself to assume roles in the hope that the result would be excellent. I thought that doing, being, and acting the way others felt was “right” would help me fit in better. Not only did that not happen, I started to feel a dislike for my life! The truth is, I didn’t always know what I wanted, so it made it easier to play the part.

Fast forward… today, using my intuition, gut feeling, and incredible connection to my spirit guides, I follow guidance that supports me in the most incredible role of my life… living my life’s purpose! I create roles for myself that push me to grow, honor my soul’s purpose, and celebrate my spirit. This is the role that is the center of my joy, great friendships, love and peace.

What roles are you creating that are not aligned with your soul purpose?

You’ll start to recognize these roles because they won’t feel right, you’ll feel like you’re on a treadmill going nowhere, and you probably won’t have much fun either.

Here are three 10-minute tips to help you create better roles for yourself.

  1. Meditation – I know you’ve heard it before, meditation has great benefits. But you really have to. Start slow with just 10 minutes a day. Sit quietly and focus your attention on a happy moment or event in your life. From this place, ask a question. “What should my next business product be?” or “How should I title my book?” Listen to the answer throughout the course of your day. Notice what appears. You may be reading an email which may trigger the message or perhaps a billboard while driving down the street may have the answer. Ten minutes a day will have a big impact.
  2. Journal – I’m sure you’ve also heard of the benefits of journaling. It’s true; Journaling can help you tap into your inner guidance. Taking 10 minutes a day to journal your feelings, dreams, ideas, and challenges will help you receive divine guidance for your most challenging decisions.
  3. Gratitude: Being grateful for what you have allows you to receive more. Take a moment each day to express gratitude for what you have, for who you are, and for the people who inspire and love you. By taking just 10 minutes a day to express gratitude, you will notice a major change. Your inner guidance will kick in to help you receive more of what brings you joy and more of what you desire.

With just 30 minutes out of your day, you’ll start creating dynamic roles that satisfy your soul. Become the star of your own movie and win the “Happy Soul Award”, my equivalent of an Oscar!
