There are some helpful guidelines to improve the performance of your HDMI cables.

Use signal boosters. Depending on the quality, most HDMI cables lose their signal in about 10 to 50 feet. With these devices, the power is improved so that they remain powerful even over long cable runs. However, there are HDMI cables that are 75 feet long and already have a built-in signal booster inside the cable.

Use signal equalizers. This is another device that can maintain signal quality and strength even over longer cable runs. It can also be called a signal enhancer. In addition to improving the signal, it can also remove any superfluous noise disturbance. Losing the dynamics of HD technology is not something to worry about as the device does not remove it.

Use signal extenders. It helps by spreading the signal along the cable after receiving the signal.

Use signal restorers. They are tiny devices where weak signals are harmonized again to achieve maximum HDMI quality. Extends the distance so that the signal travels even more than a hundred feet.

Use fiber optic cable. This is the best but most expensive alternative. Fiber optic cables are typically used after reaching a maximum length of 150 feet. Additionally, HDMI cables can reach a maximum of 1,649 feet of efficient run with their fiber optics.

The quality of the raw materials used dictates the maximum run length and efficiency of the cables. Thicker copper cables in twisted pairs are generally in the higher value cable category, but they mean additional expense by the consumer, but still no guarantee of efficiency. Even high-quality HDMI cables struggle to carry better signals over 50 feet away.

You still need to invest in other add-on devices to improve the signal of your HDMI cable over long distance.
