Online advertising! Complex or simple?

The content that I share with you is normally not free, but after my research and testing, I have developed it into my own articles, which are free for all of you. Enjoy.

The Internet can be a very daunting place for someone looking for advertising. It is growing at a phenomenal rate with tens of thousands of pages being added daily. Now you can see why this can be daunting. How do you get your share of the traffic? your site, page or product will be lost for sure.

Not so fast. Online advertising can be really simple if you keep it simple. Don’t run ahead of yourself. One step at a time and master each stage.

What I am about to share with you, you may already know, but have you perfected it yet? If you don’t know about this method then that’s great, you’re off to a great start.

How to generate free affiliate marketing traffic. In fact, this method can be used to advertise pages, websites, links, a business, products. You say it! Generating traffic is all it takes with most of today’s online affiliate programs. I am an affiliate marketer and found that this method is growing my business! It’s effective, easy and free. All it will cost you is your time.

I’m talking about creating a group of information that links to your product. The group consists of Squidoo Lens, a blog, social websites, and articles. All of these are free to sign up and easy to use. A big advantage of using this technical group is that the articles, blog, and lens stay up-to-date with each other, which increases the page’s search engine rankings.

To get started, sign up at squidoo.com and create your lens. Right before you created it, you should have already seen that your title is keyword rich. Take it even further and research the long tail keyword you may have a niche within your product. Example:

My product is a tube of skin cream with aloe vera. You could call your lens:

aloe-vera-cream-for-skin

Or you could consider reaching the niche market with:

how-to-get-away-eczema-with-this-aloe-vera-skin-cream

That was a pure example, but it makes you think, doesn’t it? This last one was what they call the long-tail keyword.

So now you have your title and your lens is ready to go. Build your lens with keyword-rich content. Make links available for your product from content text modules. Divide your content into similar chapters and spread it out over 5 or more text modules. You really only need the text modules and an rss feed so you can download the modules from Amazon, eBay, YouTube (unless you have a clip on your product!).

Be sure to use the health check feature to build your lens to its full potential. This will gain search engine rankings and expose your lens to other lens wearers.

So far you are doing very well. Don’t stress about this as you’ll need to tweak it over time, so get down to the details and move on to creating a blog. You will also create a link from the lens to your blog! Keep the blog simple with a text module (post) and a selection of yourself. Keep it honest and genuine.

Once again, the content is rich in keywords that speak to your product. You can also rss the blog to your lens, that’s why I said keep the rss feed module earlier.

So far you have a lens and a blog. They both link to your product but only the lens links to your blog! Are you with me until now? These will have to be adjusted and modified over time. Try to update them every two or three days. After updating them, use pingoat.com to submit them.

Fantastic! Now we move on to writing articles.

There are plenty of article websites out there. If I were you, I’d find about ten to start with, including EzineArticles and goarticles as the top ones.

Learn how to write content by the rules of article sites. EzineArticles is fantastic for this as they will guide you on how to get your article accepted if it is rejected.

To start with, my first few items were returned a few times.

Articles again should target the title as keywords. This will ensure that it is picked up by the target audience you are looking for. Again, try long-tail keywords as well. If you can, try to submit an article or two a day. A little too much to start with, I know, but as you get used to doing this, you’ll be able to erase it easily. Each item must link to its lens. You could look at your lens as the capture page and the articles capture the traffic to submit. These links are inbound links also called backlinks. Once traffic starts using these links and getting visits to your page, it will also give you better search engine rankings.

So you see, this pool is fantastic and can go viral. You have constant articles that attract traffic, the lens converts this traffic into customers. If you follow this and continue to add articles and continue to update and tweak the blog and lens, and also pingoat every time you edit, you will create a fantastic stream of traffic.

Share the links to the articles, the blog, and the lens with as many social sites as you can think of. Become a member of the new ones and become none.

Avoid spam at all costs! That’s not the way to go. Anyone who makes money from spam will soon discover that it is short-lived.

The information here works. Go and try it for yourself.
