physical torture

Ringworm which is associated with an itch is one of the devastating skin diseases because it does not choose a good place to spread its harmful infection throughout the entire body. It can grow in sensitive areas that have a greater risk to the person’s health. These certain body parts that are embarrassing to scratch are the groin, vagina, breasts, and buttocks. Since ringworm is contagious and grows quickly, it can damage the area where it is found. It can cover the entire body when not handled properly.

The itch of ringworm has its disadvantages that are being burdened by the person. In the case of ringworm that grows anywhere, its main symptom is itchiness when scratched and creates a wound that can become infected if left untreated. The tendency to scratch is inevitable since it is the instantaneous reaction of our body when feeling itchy. After an injury has been caused by scratching, which is sometimes done unconsciously even without looking at the affected part, a manifestation of infection occurs. As the infection spreads to the affected area and penetrates deep into the body, the person experiencing this process suffers from pain.

A simple ringworm itch that resulted in a wound limits the person from doing other things using the affected part. When ringworm is on the hand, the person suffering from the condition has trouble washing dishes, laundry, or doing any manual work. At the workplace, the person may find it difficult to do some office work, such as sending emails, typing, organizing documents or files in the filing cabinet, or signing any documents.

If the ringworm itch is around the toes, the person may have difficulty walking in their shoes, sandals, or slippers. They may have a hard time going places. Their journey is only limited as they suffer pain with every step they take. Other people who have a severe case of ringworm of the foot may not be able to walk at all. This will prevent them from having their meetings with business partners, clients or prospects.

The pain is ever present in all the damage that has been done that was caused just by a ringworm itch. The effect of ringworm is not only seen outside the body, but the scar that it could leave you emotionally adds more damage.

mental pain

The itching and pain of ringworm is not that easy to tolerate. The body tolerance of each person differs from each other. There are people who are sensitive to pain and do not have a strong threshold. Pain tolerance could be related to the type of personality a person has. Introverts are overly sensitive to pain. They feel almost anything, from what’s going on around them to what’s going on inside their body. They tend to focus on the fact that sometimes it is a disadvantage rather than an advantage, especially when dealing with pain, which is the opposite in extroverted people. Extroverts feel less pain than people who are introverts. Their mind is not focused on the pain they feel but on the people around them. They are happy and outgoing, which is different from introverts who are lonely and aloof.

The ideas that rush into the mind of the person suffering from the disease are quite negative. The severity of her condition and pain influences her feelings. They may have unhappy thoughts while experiencing the agony of the situation. Having these thoughts will make them feel depressed, frustrated, angry, etc.
