Platja del Portet is a quiet and picturesque cove with fine sand and crystal clear waters, located between the port of Moraira and the Torre Cap d’Or, which you can climb, it is very delimited by promontories that give it a spectacular feel, and a splendid view, the beach sheltered with soft shelves makes it ideal for children. Almost like the Caribbean bay, since the water is turquoise, the road to it is winding and the hills are covered with pine trees. Platja de l’Ampolla (Moraira beach)

With golden sand, it is the largest and most popular beach in the area, with an excellent variety of facilities including beach bars, hammocks and hammocks, toilets, showers, and various water sports activities, such as jet skis, boat trips, and pool games. Platgetes

This sandy / rocky beach runs parallel to the Moraira / Calpe coast road, with a beautiful long promenade to stroll around and a good range of bars and restaurants nearby. There is plenty of designated parking and a Red Cross lifeguard team is in close proximity. This is an ideal area to find quieter and more private places to spend the day at the beach, and you can visit the various nearby bars for a leisurely snack or lunch.

How to get there: When leaving Moraira, heading towards Calpe along the coastal road, you will see several parking spaces for the beach.

Platge de L’Andragó

This cove is very relaxed and a quiet beach, perfect for fishing, diving, snorkeling and any type of water sport. It has a very long coastal walk, with beautiful views of the cliff edges and the Mediterranean coastline. Also, the famous ‘Algas’ chiringuito is located here, where you have to go to sunbathe and whatever else you feel like, it is worth a visit.

How to get there: When you leave Moraira, heading towards Calpe along the coastal road, you will see several beach car parks, passing Platgetes beach.

Cap Blanc and Punta de l’Estrella

The rest of the coast up to Cap Blanc is an area full of cliffs, coves and secluded beaches, with excellent viewpoints. Cap Blanc itself is a quiet rocky beach with spectacular cliffs and magnificent views along the Mediterranean coast to the Peñón de Calpe.

How to get there: From the coastal road from Moraira to Calpe, take the Pepe la Sal Supermarket turnoff and cross the pine forest until you reach the Cap Blanc cliff. From here you will find a path that winds to a small parking area near the sea with a flight of stairs leading to a spot for sunbathing and snorkeling. In the summer there is a ladder to help you get in and out of the water. The sea is particularly clear here, a true paradise for divers and snorkelers.
