Do you think that with the skill set you have and the digital tools that are available to you, you can work from home instead of going to the office, working 9 to 5? What if there is a balance between the two? Can working from home gradually become the norm?

In my opinion, if you are an IT person, there should be some flexibility to work 9-5 regularly in the office. The authorities involved should seriously think about it. Today, almost everyone owns a laptop, and with internet access and digital tools at hand, you can work anytime from the comfort of your home instead of sticking to a strict 9-5 schedule.

Although working from home is the modern approach, many IT companies still strive to regularly work in the office. So I think there can be some balance between the two options. For example, working from home three times a week and going to the office twice a week would be a good work schedule. I believe productivity is more like this because the individual gets plenty of rest, sleep, and home-cooked food, giving them the ability to work efficiently with renewed energy and vigour.

The less work pressure in the morning about getting dressed, going to the office by car through the traffic jam to be on time, the better the person will feel. You get more freedom, enjoy quality family time, and also work comfortably from home this way.

The person can also, in a relaxed way, enroll in online courses and broaden their experience if they do not have to spend the five days in the office. That way, he achieves a greater skill set that will be good for his company because the person is now in a better position to tackle longer and more difficult projects, beating all odds.

A company needs qualified and competent employees. If employees can provide greater service by staying and working from home, the company has nothing to lose and everything to gain. There can be deadlines for projects in the usual way: the only difference is that employees do their work spending more time at home, understood?

There may be meetings and presentations on the two office days I have suggested above. So the employees are on the right track; they know how many milestones they have already covered and how many more they have to follow.

There can be seminars, birthday celebrations, festive dinners and other gatherings in the office as usual. None of these social networks have to stop. The only point I want to make here is that employees are happier and more comfortable in their shoes by gaining some freedom, working longer from the luxury of their sweet homes.
