There is a lot of money that can be made online. There are millions doing one business or another on the web. Unfortunately, only a small fraction of online businessmen actually make a living online. But the secret is that there is enough money for everyone who intends to work and earn online. The biggest enemy facing new entrants (newcomers) is the proliferation of scams and fraud online. Reliable research has proven and established that around 95% of online money making schemes are riddled with fraudulent tendencies.

WHAT IS A SCAM?

There are many “gurus” who promise heaven and earth online but deliver very little. They promise that if you buy their product you will become a millionaire in the next fifteen minutes. “Start earning $5,000 a day starting tomorrow.” “Get three million hits on your website for $10.” Most of them are scams. As soon as you had paid, you would find out that all your claims are empty.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

Personally, I have been the victim of many scams in my attempts to figure out what works and what doesn’t work online. However, it is not necessary for everyone to go through the same bitter experience.

TIPS

Use search engines to determine the reputation of the company. You can use your sense of judgment to determine this, as you will always find positive and negative comments about any company here on the net.
Please read the terms and conditions of the contract to ensure that you understand the delivery procedures, return policy, and warranty for the product or service.
Look up a privacy policy. Please make sure you are comfortable with the way the company collects, protects and uses your personal information before submitting any details. Make sure the company guarantees that your information will not be sold or shared with a third party.
Make sure the company has a fair and clear process for making complaints and/or canceling orders, as well as a guaranteed refund.

Make sure transactions are secure. Do not enter any financial information if you see a broken key or open lock symbol in your Internet browser.
Avoid sending confidential or financial information by email. It is not a secure procedure since it can be intercepted before reaching its destination.

Avoid spam (unsolicited marketing email) by being careful about disclosing your email address both on and offline. Check a company’s privacy policy to find out if your email address might be shared with other companies.

Talk to your children about online activities. Instruct them to keep your personal information private unless you approve.
