Right now, even at this very moment, small businesses are experiencing an economic climate in which they need to adapt in order to thrive. Or, more appropriately, even keep your doors open. If you are one of those business owners who think:

  • “My business will not benefit from being online.”
  • “I need to be online, but I don’t know how and I don’t have time.”
  • “These new trends (like Twitter and Facebook) are not here to stay; I won’t worry about them.”
  • “Who cares about Google? I don’t need to be listed and ranked there.”
  • and many more…

…So you need to read every word on this page.

The business environment has changed and in order to reach your customers and target audience, you now need to go where they are – online. This scares most business owners as they have no idea how it’s done. And that is what I would like to talk to you about today.

At Green Apple Sales, we KNOW how it’s done and have helped numerous companies capitalize on this potentially exponential growth by leveraging the digital marketing strategies that are making and destroying businesses right now.

Solid web presence

You know how in a mall, for example, people come to walk around and look at the stores and if they like the look of one, they stop? The idea behind this is that stores in malls are positioning themselves to be exposed to all that “mall traffic”… They’re getting in front of people who might be interested in what they have. Sure, not everyone who goes to the mall stops at every store, but each store will attract a targeted crowd.

Essentially, that hasn’t changed with the rise of the digital business market; however, the way you position yourself to your target audience has become more difficult.

In order to have an effective web presence, you must first optimize your site so that it is one of the first sites displayed when your customers search for you on Google (or other major search engines). This is called search engine optimization (SEO), which I will cover in great depth in a later post.

Digital Marketing Strategy

Once you’ve established your site and ranked in the search engines through SEO, you need to focus on other methods of attracting visitors to your site. There are so many ways to do this, and each strategy, if applied correctly, can be a powerhouse of lead generation for your business.
