Rebuilding a house is mostly a sequential task. One task waits for another, your schedule increases when a single job stops the rest. Typically, multiple jobs can be completed side by side, but if you and your team are not proficient in completing jobs in sequence, then one job can delay all other jobs. Time is important as no matter what you spend, you won’t get much financial advantage until your project is complete. In other words, you need to know how to quickly renovate a building if you really intend to renovate your finances!
There are literally thousands of tasks to complete when renovating a home; here is an abbreviated list of tasks with descriptions:
Planning – Spend a lot of time building a building plan, timeline, and floor plan before you begin. Try to arrange a meeting with all the mechanics to get what they need. You will need to make adjustments to build all the mechanical straps and cabinets in your floor plan.
Permits – Always make sure you get local approval before spending a penny.
Temporary power: it will be needed if you don’t have power available
Demolition: Remove and dispose of all obsolete and rotten materials. Deconstruct all the way to the bare studs if necessary. Clear the workplace of trash, weeds, and unnecessary items.

Finish the mechanics: The HVAC contractor can now fit the manhole covers and thermostat. The plumber can now fit faucets, install toilets, and trim tub and shower fixtures. Electricians will now install outlets, switches, and hang light fixtures throughout the home.
Paint Finish – All trim painting can now be completed.
Cleanup: Remove excess materials and clean the house and site again.
Flooring – Install your flooring now that the house is clean and ready.
