Let me spell it for you, okay… so,

Here we go:

  • Spicy food
  • many spicy foods
  • Spicy home cooked meals
  • Spicy restaurant-style meals
  • Your best friend’s mom’s spicy foods
  • Any slightly spicy food
  • Good food with spices in them.
  • italian spicy food
  • Spicy foods from any country
  • Anything with spices, it could be leather, it doesn’t matter

And that’s just the spicy stuff, not the ACID and greasy and creamy stuff, plus late-night kitchen raids or stops at McFat’nGreasies on the way home from work.

This is where rubber meets fellow rider, so put your mouth where your brain is. I know you want to take control of your food and clothes and whatnot, but just talking about them isn’t going to get rid of GERD: heartburn acid reflux, sore throat, nausea, anxiety, sleepless nights, etc., etc., etc. . .

YOU NEED A PLAN!

If that is. On Map. Pretty simple actually.

NO! My diet does not consist of daily measured servings of carrot and celery sticks!

I love pizza! I love pasta, anything from Alfredo, and all the other delicious things out there. Although I’m not too fond of sweet things, which is fine since I’m diabetic. Yes, yes, yes, I know, so the paste also turns into sugar, but that’s beside the point and I remind you that I’m the one making the point here.

And the point is…..

YOU CAN EAT WHATEVER YOU WANT!…in moderation, of course. That’s Mode-Ration, my definition of taking charge.

We always hear about eating 4 to 6 times a day. So if you eat 6 times a day (starting at 8am and ending at 8pm), that means eating something every two hours. That’s a lot of food you’re saving, mate!

But the trick is to make sure you PLAN your meals and snacks so you don’t go for the fries at the last minute, you know how it is. Remember, it’s about taking control of your FOOD and your LIFE and your MONEY. And the only way to take control is to PLAN IT.

Let’s start by not buying anything you shouldn’t eat in the first place, okay? – DUH!

So go on then….., get down to work and start PLANNING.
