6. Organize and Clean, Clean, Clean. This is a fact, but nevertheless very important. Always make sure your home is clean and tidy before showing it off, and remove any clutter. You want potential homebuyers to see the beauty of your home, and disorganized clutter can hide that and give buyers a sense of anxiety when viewing your home.
7. Replace outdated lamps. Outdated lighting fixtures can make a room look and feel old and dirty. This is an affordable and quick upgrade that’s especially important in bathrooms, where a light fixture that’s been around since the ’70s is hard to miss.
